The need

Trinity Presbyterian Church was started in 2014 to be a church where the good news of Jesus Christ is faithfully preached and members are motivated by the gospel to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) and follow the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:34-40). Since our founding, God has blessed us both spiritually and materially as we hear the good news of the gospel of grace each week and strive to love each other and live our lives in light of who we are in Christ. And we have done all of that in our members’ homes and at Crofton Woods Elementary School (CWES), a location that God graciously provided from the beginning to meet the needs of our growing congregation. While God has met our every need along the way, we knew at the outset that worshiping at CWES was not a long-term solution. We would eventually need our own building. The COVID-19 pandemic has especially highlighted our need for our own facility on our own property.

The vision

Since we began the process of designing and building a more permanent church home, our vision has been that it be a place where every believer can be fed by the means of grace, where the Word will be preached and the congregation can partake in the sacraments, and where we can fellowship as the Body of Christ. It is also to be a house of corporate prayer, a place where God’s people worship, and a place where believers are surrounded with truth so that they can be continually strengthened to be God’s witnesses and ambassadors for the gospel to the world.
