We are committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of physical, mental, or emotional challenges, can fully participate in the life of our church. Whether you or a family member have a formal diagnosis or not, this ministry is here to provide personalized accommodations to help attendees engage with our services and community. We believe that every person deserves to experience the love and fellowship of our church family, and we are dedicated to making that possible for all. Let us know how we can serve you!
Examples of the support we offer include:
Contact Information
For more information about how this ministry can support you—or if you’re interested in volunteering to assist others—please reach out to our Specialty Care Coordinator, Esther Doolan. Buddy Program
Our Buddy Program is a meaningful way to help create an accessible and supportive church environment for individuals with autism and other special needs. Volunteers in this program partner one-on-one with a participant to help them access Sunday School, worship services, and church events while also offering opportunities for movement breaks and sensory-friendly moments when needed. This ministry not only supports the individual, but also offers much-needed respite and encouragement to their caregivers, helping them engage more fully in the life of our church. Opportunities to serve include:
No special training is required — just a willing heart, a little flexibility, and a desire to show Christ’s love in tangible ways. We’ll provide guidance and resources to help you serve confidently. Come be a steady, caring presence in the life of a child and their family — your presence makes a difference.
Mobility Ministry
Our Mobility Ministry exists to help individuals in our church family who need assistance with transportation get to and from worship services. This simple act of care makes it possible for everyone to stay connected to the life of the church, even when transportation is a challenge.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to provide rides for a participant on Sunday mornings. Volunteers would use their personal vehicle (ideally one with a seat behind the driver) to pick them up before church and drop them off afterward. Help with transferring from wheelchair to vehicle will be available at both ends of the trip, so you won’t be doing this alone. Even serving once a month can make a significant difference in someone’s life and help them remain part of our worshiping community.
Want to learn more or get involved in either program? We’d love to hear from you! Contact our Specialty Care Coordinator, Esther Doolan to sign up today.
