Men’s Retreat 2026

What

Since Trinity began, our men have had the great blessing to go on a yearly retreat. at Greenwood Hills Bible Camp (near Gettysburg) for a weekend of study, prayer, fellowship, and fun. A guest speaker prepares several sessions of lessons for us, and we participate in recreational activities in the surrounding area. The goal is encouragement and growth during a time of rest and relaxation. We begin on Thursday evening around 8 pm and leave Sunday morning in order to return for Lord’s Day worship at 10 am — though men should feel free to come late or leave early as needed.

This year’s speaker is Dr. David Ayers, an author and former Dean, Provost, and Professor at Grove City College. His topic is “What’s the Point?: Thoughts on the Book of Ecclesiastes.” Dr. Ayers, a nationally-recognized sociologist, will take us through his recent work in Ecclesiastes. Combining his lifelong experience as a researcher and sociologist with his passion for Bible knowledge, Dr. Ayers will help explain how this often-misunderstood or neglected book offers wisdom and comfort to believers.
