
Reverend Dr. Chris Jameson
Rev. Dr. Chris Jameson is Trinity Presbyterian Church’s Senior Pastor and an ordained Teaching Elder in the PCA. Prior to his ordination, he was involved in many ministries both within and outside of the PCA.
Chris served in Central Illinois with a local church (2016-2018) providing preaching and leading mercy and discipleship ministries. He was engaged in inner city ministry at Grace and Peace Fellowship (PCA) in St. Louis (2018-2022), where he also led worship, preached, and chaired the board of Deacons in overseeing mercy ministries like their Food Pantry, Women’s Shelter, and outreach to neighbors. Chris taught New Testament and Greek in Durham, England at both Lindisfarne College of Theology and at Durham University’s Cranmer Hall (2023-2024). While in Durham, Chris served as a supply preacher at Durham Presbyterian Church (2022-2025) and contributed to their ministry with Bible studies, conference addresses, and discipleship.
Chris earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Theology from Moody Bible Institute before getting his Master’s of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary. In an effort to be capable to stand up for the truth of Christian principles and exegesis, Chris earned his PhD in New Testament from Durham University, one of the top five theological universities in the world. Chris is committed to bringing his education to bear in his pastorate, leveraging his expertise to serve the people in the pew and making the deeper parts of the faith practically applicable for everyday Christians. Chris and his wife Alyssa have been married for thirteen years and have two children, Titus (7) and Anneka (4). They enjoy playing games and reading together.
